Chinese Dance Class with Ms. Anne Ma

FCC-SoCal Orange County Regional Group is once again offering a session of Chinese dance instruction to our community. The class will be led by acclaimed dance instructor, Ms. Anne Ma at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Association (SCCCA). Miss Ma has taught this annual class to our children the last few years. She and this event are an FCC-SoCal favorite!
Ms. Anne Ma has been teaching Chinese dance to children, teenagers, and adults since 1994. She is a graduate of Taiwan College with a degree in Dance. In both Taiwan and the U.S., Anne has won numerous dance competitions and has extensive experience in the teaching and choreography of Chinese dance. Presently, she is the Artistic Director of Dance Impressions and Lan Ling Dance Studio in Walnut. The Studio’s goal is to promote the art of Chinese folk dance and motivate the younger generation to better understand their Chinese heritage.
This one hour class is designed for our younger kids who can follow some instruction, approximately ages 3 to 8, but older kids are welcome to attend. Children should come dressed in Chinese attire, barefoot or in ballet slippers; no socks. Please arrive 10 minutes early, as class will start promptly on time. Parents, bring your video cameras! You will get to see your child’s hard work in a performance during the last fifteen minutes of the class!
Cost: $10.00 per child. FCC-SoCal members and non-members are welcome! Admission will be collected at the door. Space is limited so register today using the following link!
